Genes

Genes are like the blueprints for our cells. They tell how to build the cell. Your genes get inherited from your parents. For example, eye color, hair color, and even health, is made from your genes. Various diseases can also be found in your genes. These diseases could harm you in many ways. If we didn't have genes, everybody would look the same. If scientists finally crack the genetic code, then they could find a cure for viruses and other harmful diseases. I think that this would be a great discovery for mankind.
