On 2-23-07, there was an outbreak of rats in a local KFC/Taco Bell food joint up in New York City. The rats might have gotten there from the basement, which at the time was being renevated. The fast food restaurant has been closed since then. "This is completely unacceptable and is an absolute violation of our high standards," the company statement says. My opinion is that the Taco Bell consumers will stop going there to buy food. This is the second time this year that Taco Bell has made hundreds of people afraid of consuming their products. If Taco Bell messes up one more time, many people will stop going there and the company will run bankrupt.
